i got a copy of Hanoi's 'another hostile takeover' today and it is much better then the samples lead us to believe. in fact it is really good. better high, no compromise no regrets, eternal optimist, hurt, all classic hanoi. the whole disc is solid. worst song (IMO) is back in your face and i have a feeling that they will release that as the first single.

anyway, i was a little harsh on it after listening to the samples but this is a really good cd. if they can get some promo and hook up with a good tour over here they actually might make something of this one.

i am a big hanoi fan, but didnt care as much for there last one...ive heard the samples and thought they sounded very promising, so hopefully i will like this one....seems like its taking them a few albums to get back into being HANOI.....though i wish Nasty and Sammy were there........kenny hopeless

I got my copy this morning and what can I say, incredible,I have had the same feeling when I listened to Twelve shots on the rocks for the first time... I think Andy&Michael still kikin' but with more class than ever!

From what I hear on the samples, it sounds a bit like "Self Destruction Part Two".

It's due out on April 30th in the US, May 2nd in UK. The Lightin' Bar Blues boxset is out now. The boxset only costs about 15 quid, as well!!!
